Very decent

Very nice brightness and colour, integrates with Home Assistant and ZHA nicely. Dim is fairly nice but brighter than expected.

Can't set the on_off default state which means after power outages the lights all turn on, so they're not suitable for bedrooms.

Can be ok depending on your expectations

This light has both good and bad things going for it. Firstly the good.
Price is excellent. Very bright, good RGB colour reproduction, compatible with open source systems like Zigbee2Mqtt.

As for the bad, the dimming curve is jumpy. If you're used to Phillips Hue lights, these lights will turn on abruptly rather than fade on compared to Hue. Also the colour temperature is inaccurate. Sending a request for a colour of 2300K results in the light producing something closer to 3000K. As a result if you mix these lights with other lights such as Hue, they colours won't match.

I bought 3 and they will be fine for some rooms like wardrobes or the guest bathroom, but for the bedroom and living rooms I think its worth spending the extra money and getting a higher quality light, like Hue or similar.

These are great, good brightness and deep colour

If you’re thinking of more mainstream zigbee, hold off, buy these, they’re cheaper, better made AND better brightness / colour.

I had installed a whole load (maybe 20) of the IKUU downlights,
These ones came on sale, I took a punt on ten of them, and wish I had sooner.
Even at their full price, they’re the cheapest Australian certified way to get good remotely controllable dimming and adjustable cool / warm white downlights…and their colour is far better than the Mercator.

Being zigbee they work with almost any zigbee system (I’m on home assistant here)

Do yourself a favour and buy!

Good products

I bought 2 to replace normal downlights and connect with home assistant via ZHA. It works like a charm. Now i can set different automation like full brightness auto on from sunset to sleeptime, after that just 30% bright until sunset, and no turn on at all during day time. As it is zigbee it update status to home assitant when its on by button or power outage, i can set an automation to turn it off automatically after power outage or when i need to turn it on by button, without the need replace the normal button to smart button. Im happen i bought the right ones for my smart system.
