HomeMech-2002 SMART SWITCH AND DIMMER
The push button smart dimmer is a Z-Wave device designed to work with various types of light sources. It is connected to a two-wire configuration so it operates without neutral lead. The dimmer can switch or dim connected light sources either through Z-Wave devices or push button or through the wall switch connected directly to it.
The dimmer can be included and operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z-Wave certified devices from other manufacturers and/or other applications.
All non-battery-operated nodes within the network will act as repeaters regardless of vendor to increase the reliability of the network.

To be installed in Australian standard wall switch plate,
I’ve had a sparky install about 49 of these in my home. Thought it would be a good way of saving wallbox space by integrating mech and zwave module in one. Devices go into overload protection randomly/ad-hoc and there is absolutely no actual overload condition. Usually happens with no load on circuit and it’s always a different module each time. Only way to reset is turn the light breaker off and on to the house. I must assume these using inferior spec mosfets with poor QC or something similar.stick with Fibaro or Aeotech and save yourself the cost and hassle. I’ve been using Zwave modules for 15 years and never seen anything like this.
