Bought to test on my blind. I missed the instructions to check the blind roller size for compatibility. I had 38mm which meant out of the box it would not work. I printed a few parts using a 3D printer and the motor handles the 3 meter blind no problems!
After automating all of my other vertical blinds with DIY options, I tried to DIY some 1200wide x 2100high roller blinds without a nice solution. These slip into the roller tube with ease. The provided remote works well, but they equally connect to my Conbee II stick and Home assistant nicely. Open and close fast enough and after a few days of use, no noticable drop in battery power.
Could probably fit a larger battery without much fuss, but lets see if the provided 3 months of use is accurate. I haven't paired them with a solar panel as ill probably install a 5v power plug in the roof.
With the lack of other reviews, I wanted to let others know that if you use Home assistant, these will connect to your Conbee stick or other zigbee provided dongle with ease.
Definitely worth the money!
