      Having trouble with this item integrating to Home Assistant

      Cheap and disappointing

      Like the other reviewer, I'm also a very big fan of Shelly devices. Unfortunately, the HT sensor is not up to their usual standard. It's not easy to set up, incredibly unreliable, inaccurate, and very cheaply made.

      I could perhaps overlook some of its issues if it hadn't cost $38 and requires an additional ~$15 CR123 battery or $10 DC adapter to even function. Frankly, I feel scammed.

      I am a very big fan of the Shelly devices, and given the price of this one, it doesn't hit the mark for me. It uses an expensive battery and the battery life is very disappointing (I got about 3-4 months out of it), even when it was set up for very low resolution monitoring. There are definitely better options for temperature monitoring.

      Look at ZigBee for sensors. Wifi has limitations
