Great piece to replace unsupportable AdvantageAir light

Had AdvantageAir light module fail just before Christmas and neither AdvantageAir nor the installer had any interest in providing any service whatsoever. Instead of fighting with those useless companies I just had the module replaced with these Shelly pro units that fit like a glove at 10% of what that original unit probably cost (came with the house)

Inconsistent advertising

This is not a Shelly Pro 4PM, it's a Pro 4PM V2. The version 2 does not have individual live terminals, but a single shared live, making it totally incompatible with a system where eg: some circuits are on battery backup and some are not.

The current listing shows images and videos of the V1 of this device (which has individual live inputs and supports separate circuits), which are not accurate since this is a V2. Only the instruction manual linked reveals the difference, and only if you check the circuit diagram or look closely at the picture.

Device otherwise worked well, in the brief time before my electrician realised what was wrong and removed it.

I have had several issues and lockups with this device that now necessitate the purchase and installation of RC Snubbers.

Why are filters not built into these devices if they are so sensitive?

pretty amazing for the price

Seamless integration to home assistant. The only improvement would be make it a bit smaller, 2din for 4 poles. like having 2 2PMs. I went the 4pm over 2pm as the 2pm required a separate active.
